Not all energy snacks are made equal. Whether it’s for an on-the-go breakfast, in-between meal or a post-workout snack, energy snacks should provide you the boost you need before your next meal.

When is the last time you read the ingredient label on your energy snack? Do you see ingredients you’ve never heard of or can’t pronounce? Look for snacks that are made from whole foods like oats, nuts, cocoa, and honey. Look for no (or low) added sugars.
